So much these days is online. Often, I hope to take up a matter in-person but find that I need to use an app or a webpage. Sometimes it's convenient, othertimes it confronts me as a cold impersonal and alienating factor. My student page is often hard to use or outdated. I use to feel confident with technology, able to program a VCR or write simple code, but now it seems messed up. App hell.

Today there is indication that the stock exchange will continue it's downward trajectory. It's a good time to be an accelerationist but citizens should not return to the discredited Democratic party without understanding its limits as yet another capitalist party. They might be able to oust Trump, but the factors that enabled him in the first place come from the decay of capitalism. The economy has long ago seen competition give rise to winners that now dominate the market and directly influence the government. This is how capitalism ends. Obscene wealth for the rich and steep debt for everyone else. The system can not recover without terrible destruction on a larger scale than the second World War. Even if there were terrible destruction of the productive forces, technology would rapidly bring about another crisis. The proletariat does not recieve in wages what it produces in commodities. Multiply this fact at the pace of modern technology and things go haywire in a hurry.

Higher wages had been a reflection of higher technique, because those wages prohibit full use of the productive forces. If everyone were fully employed on the cheap, overproduction would happen overnight. So, instead of managing a huge reserve army of labor, capitalists send their unemployed to die in wars.

Earlier, I had been happy to see Corey Booker helping to change the Democratic party in the absence of any viable working class parties. The fact that MAGA Republicans can claim to be of a working class party is a damning indictment of the Democrats.

I see Fox "News" has doubled down on bullshitting. It feels like being in a dystopia... Wait- It is.
Yes, this is how it ends. The years ahead will be more painful than things already have been.

The Hands Off rally came and went. Tomorrow, I'll be expecting more of the chaos. I wish I could get drunk but that is not wise for a student.
